About Domaine Bela Voda
Domaine Bela Voda is one of Tikveš's single-vineyard estate wines, grown near the Vardar river on clay soils at around 300 metres elevation in vines roughly forty years old, in a site the winery says is shaped by strong, cooling winds that make the grapes more resistant to disease and pests. It is made in both red and white styles: the red is a Vranec and Plavac Mali blend at 14.5 per cent alcohol, the white a Chardonnay and Belan blend at 14 per cent, both showing the dark fruit character and rich palate texture the winery attributes to the Mediterranean-influenced local climate. It is exported alongside sister estate wines Domaine Barovo and Domaine Lepovo.
