About Kumova Rakija
Kumova is Tikveš's grape-brandy (rakija) range, made in four styles — Bela, Žolta, Traditional and Reserve — plus two aged brandies, Lyxa VS and Lyxa VSOP. Kumova Bela is a light, floral grape brandy served chilled; Kumova Žolta is oak-aged to a pale amber colour with dried apricot, honeyed citrus, vanilla and toasted-spice notes; Kumova Traditional is made from Smederevka grapes into what the winery calls the purest expression of Macedonian rakija; and Kumova Reserve is the most refined of the range, with caramel, dried fruit and mild vanilla character. Tikveš, North Macedonia's oldest winery, has made rakija alongside wine since 1885.
