About Luda Mara
Luda Mara is named for the Luda Mara river that runs through the Tikveš wine region, and is made in two varietal expressions: a Temjanika white and a Vranec red. The Temjanika is a dry, aromatic white with elderflower, acacia, grape and lime notes, crisp acidity and a light body; the Vranec is a dark-purple red with intense blackberry and blue-plum aromas lifted by dry Mediterranean herbs, full-bodied with high, ripe tannins and flavours of ripe cherry, blackcurrant and pomegranate on a long finish. Tikveš describes the line as a recently renewed part of its portfolio built around the region's two most planted native and adapted varieties.
