About EKU (Seychelles)
EKU Bavaria was launched in the Seychelles in 1984 and has been brewed on Mahé ever since under licence from the Kulmbach brewery in Germany that owns the name. Seychelles Breweries lists it among its beers alongside SeyBrew and Vann Swet and produces it on the same lines, but the trademark is not its own: what it holds is the right to brew and sell a German beer in one Indian Ocean market.
