About Funky
Funky is Rebisco's French Fry Snax brand, a fried potato-shaped snack sold in flavours including Cheese. With Tostas it is one of two savoury snack brands on the company's list, and its shape and name aim it at children rather than at the adult cracker buyer the Rebisco name itself serves.

About the owner: Rebisco
Rebisco is a privately held company headquartered in Pasig City, Philippines, founded in 1963. Brandtree records 16 brands under its control.
Republic Biscuit Corporation, known to everyone as Rebisco, began in 1963 as the England Biscuit Factory, a neighbourhood bakeshop in old San Juan in Metro Manila, and took its present name in 1972. Its first two products were Crema, which it describes as the first cream sandwich biscuit made in the Philippines, and a plain cracker called Sodatine. It outgrew San Juan and moved to a larger plant in Novaliches, Quezon City, and now runs its head office from the Joy Nostalg Center in Ortigas, Pasig City, with a second office at the Novaliches site. Over six decades it has spread well beyond biscuits into cakes, wafers, doughnuts, bread, nuts, chips and confectionery, through subsidiaries it lists as APC, APC Food Solutions, Creamline, MFC, Omnipack, PAD, SPI and Suncrest, and it exports through an international business group whose recent work includes a manufacturing joint venture in Myanmar.
