About Hanappier
Hanappier is presented by SAB as a classic of the range, made with an exceptional ageing process and the finest Surinamese sugarcane molasses, and sold in the premium tier alongside Black Cat, Mariënburg and Borgoe Gold. Like everything else in the portfolio it is distilled at the Paramaribo plant SAB built for itself in 1989, when the closure of the Mariënburg sugar factory three years earlier left the country without the industrial base its rum had depended on.
