About Ildefonso
Ildefonso is a Viennese layered nougat cube, and each one hides a short saying inside its wrapper. Manner says the confectioner Victor Schmidt developed the recipe in 1880. The brand came to Manner when it acquired Victor Schmidt & Söhne on 1 January 2000, together with the Austria Mozartkugel, and it is made only in Austria, like everything else Manner sells.
