About Kobold
Kobold, sold as Folletto in some markets, is Vorwerk's vacuum cleaning range. Vorwerk's page says that in 1929, when gramophone-motor sales faltered after the arrival of radio, the company used its motor for household cleaning and produced the first Kobold vacuum cleaner, the Model 30. Products are developed, designed and assembled at its Wuppertal-Laaken site and sold by direct sales.
