About Mac Baren Mixture
Mixture is the blend Mac Baren introduced in 1958, and its own pipe tobacco page describes it as one of the most smoked pipe tobaccos in the world and the signature blend that built the company's international reputation. It belongs to the Mac Baren pipe range made at the family-owned company in Svendborg, Denmark, and predates the 1995 renaming of the company after the Mac Baren blends.

About the owner: Mac Baren
Mac Baren is a privately held company headquartered in Svendborg, Denmark. Brandtree records 8 brands under its control.
Mac Baren Tobacco Company is a family-owned pipe and fine cut tobacco maker in Svendborg, Denmark. Its own history page traces a small tobacco manufacturer set up in Svendborg in 1826, bought in 1887 by Harald Halberg, and says the Halberg family has run it for five generations. It was renamed Mac Baren in 1995 after the blends of Jørgen Halberg, bought Sutliff Tobacco in 2013, brands from Imperial Tobacco Group in 2015 and the German maker Planta in 2019, and sells in more than 80 countries. It also lists a smokeless line and a Ministry of Snus business, whose brands could not be sourced and are not listed here. It runs a pipe line called Backwoods; that name is left out because the Backwoods cigar brand is recorded under another owner.
