About Piaggio
Piaggio is the group's own-name scooter line, built in the same Pontedera plant as the Vespa but sold as a separate brand at lower prices. Its 2025 range centres on the high-wheeled Liberty, relaunched that February, alongside the Beverly and Medley, which took new engines, and the MP3, the three-wheeled tilting scooter first presented in 2006. The company says a Piaggio was the first scooter anywhere to be offered with hybrid drive, in 2009.
