About Vegetalia
Vegetalia was founded in Spain in 1986 and makes organic plant-based protein foods at Castellcir, in the province of Barcelona: tofu, tempeh, seitan, burgers, croquettes and hummus among more than a hundred products. It came to Midsona with Alimentation Santé on 1 October 2019. A fire at the Castellcir factory in July 2025, which also produces for other group brands, forced Vegetalia to pause plans for Spanish grocery chains.
