About Hydro
Hydro is Schick's razor line with a hydrating gel reservoir that releases lubricant as the blade passes, sold as Hydro for men and Hydro Silk for women. It was Edgewell's principal answer to Gillette's multi-blade cartridges. The gel reservoir replaced the conventional lubricating strip, which the company argued dries out and stops working part way through a shave.
