About Las Llaves
Las Llaves is a blue laundry bar soap and detergent range that Empresas Polar's own page describes as carrying more than 140 years of tradition in Venezuela, tracing back to a soap works the Frey brothers built in Puerto Cabello in the 1870s and 1880s. Industrias Mavesa bought the patent and factory in 1955 and built the modern brand through national advertising; it passed to Polar with the 2001 Mavesa acquisition and today covers bar soap and powder and liquid detergents.
