More Lager became part of Nigerian Breweries on 31 December 2014 in the merger with Consolidated Breweries, which also brought in 33 Export, Williams, Turbo King and Hi-Malt. Two of the three breweries that came with the deal, at Onitsha and Makurdi, were later turned into distribution centres.
